Ae Chan Aung, born in 1994, is an illustrator/ animator with a unique career path. He first worked as a seafarer before switching to animation in 2017, starting as an animator and illustrator at Pencell Studio. There, he worked on many successful projects, including the award-winning animated music video "Thadiyadel" by Big Bag. By mid-2018, he became Director and Creative Director, creating and producing many animated commercials and projects for a variety of clients, from businesses to CSOs, NGOs, and INGOs. Also as a board member, he oversaw the company, focusing on management and finances, which helped the studio grow quickly.After leaving Pencell Studio at the end of 2021, Ae Chan started freelancing. He took on roles as a creative director, producer, animator, and illustrator, leading and working on different projects. He is now pursuing his passion for writing graphic novels and comic books, continuing to make his mark in the creative world with his versatile talents and commitment to storytelling.
